Make a decision regarding Deandre Hopkins

One of the players who has garnered significant popularity in Chiefs Kingdom is Deandre Hopkins, despite never having been on the team. Many fans are convinced that he's the missing piece to repeating as Super Bowl champions. Following his release from the Arizona Cardinals, there are strong rumors suggesting that the Chiefs and Buffalo Bills are the frontrunners to sign the future Hall of Famer.

In my opinion, one of the notable concerns on the roster revolves around the number one wide receiver position. While Travis Kelce is the number one option in the offense, the wide receiver room consists mainly of young, inexperienced, and journeyman players. The addition of a player of Hopkins' caliber would undeniably elevate the Chiefs' offense to being the best in the NFL by a wide margin.

The timing of Hopkins' decision remains uncertain. It could occur tomorrow or in the following month. We don't know when he will make his choice. Consequently, Brett Veach and the Chiefs' management need to determine their stance on pursuing Hopkins now. If a feasible deal (at a reasonable contract) is possible, then they should actively pursue it. However, if a reasonable contract is not within reach, it would be wise for them to halt their efforts and redirect their focus toward other positions and players, such as a defensive lineman.
