So overall, the Chiefs won six out of the 10 groups. Nine times out of 10 the team with the best quarterback and the best coach have a significant advantage and that is what we had here. It is also interesting that the 49ers won two out of the three defensive categories, given the Chiefs have had a much better defense throughout 2023. I think there is a sense of the 49ers being a little bit overrated and better on paper than they have played, especially later on in the year.
The 49ers have recently been routed by the Baltimore Ravens and barely got by the Packers and Lions. If the Chiefs can play to the standard they have set during this playoff run, they will win their third Super Bowl in five seasons.
