Chiefs Super Bowl 58 odds: Kansas City's odds make big leap after Wild Card win
The Kansas City Chiefs took care of business on Saturday night, handling the Miami Dolphins with ease to secure a berth in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs.
As you'd expect, the Chiefs' odds of winning Super Bowl 58 took a significant leap after Saturday's win. Let's take a look at their latest odds and then break down their path to lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the second straight season.
Chiefs Super Bowl 58 odds
The Chiefs were listed at +900 odds at FanDuel Sportsbook to win the Super Bowl last week, but after their win against the Dolphins, their odds have jumped to +700. Not only was beating the Dolphins helpful when it came to their odds but one of the teams listed above them, the Dallas Cowboys, being eliminated also helped their chances of winning it all.
At +700 odds, the Chiefs have an implied probability of 12.5% of successfully defending their title. If you place a $100 bet on them to win it all, you'd currently win a profit of $600 if they can successfully pull it off.

Will the Chiefs win the Super Bowl?
The Chiefs certainly have a path to the Super Bowl and should be considered as serious contenders. With that being said, there is a strong possibility they'll have to do something they have yet to need to do in the Mahomes era, and that's win a road playoff game.
Mahomes has yet to compete in a playoff game on the road in his career, but now he may have to do it twice to return to the Super Bowl.
The Chiefs will need to go to Buffalo for the Divisional Round. If they win that game, they may need to hit the road a second time if the Ravens get past the Texans.
There is still a path where they can return to Arrowhead once more in these playoffs. If the Texans upset the Ravens, the Chiefs will welcome the Texans to town for the AFC Championship if Kansas City can take down Buffalo.
With that being said, it's the much more likely scenario that the Chiefs will need to hit the road for their final two playoff games, something they have yet to do in their recent playoff runs.
Who will the Chiefs play in the next round?
The Chiefs will head to Buffalo to take on the Bills in the Divisional Round. The game will take place on Sunday, January 21, at 6:30 pm et.
The Ravens will host the Texans in the other AFC Divisional Round game with the two winners facing off in the AFC Championship.
Chiefs vs. Bills odds
The Chiefs opened as 2.5-point underdogs with the total for the game set at 46.
Based on their +126 moneyline odds, the Chiefs have an implied probability of 44.25% of winning the game and advancing to the AFC Championship for the sixth straight season.
