Chiefs mock draft: Taking the best player available in each round

Round 4 (125): Audric Estime, RB, Notre Dame

The 2024 draft class isn't particularly deep at running back but there is some value with picks on day 3. Estime had a big season for the Irish rushing for 18 touchdowns and over 1400 all-purpose yards. He's the definition of a north and south runner, making one cut and getting upfield. He has great straight-line speed and has made some nice plays in the passing game as well. Still, just 20 years old Estime has upside for an offense looking for big plays

How he fits: The Chiefs have one running back under contract for 2024. Estime profiles similarly to Pacheco in style and role currently but he can develop into a more complete runner, especially with vision. Some other backs fit better with the Chiefs' current needs but Estime brings depth to a position of need where the starter has missed time due to injury.
