2. Dallas Cowboys @ Los Angeles Chargers

Game time: Monday, October 16, 7:15 PM CT

Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook: Cowboys (-2)

TV: ESPN/ABC

Dallas comes limping into Los Angeles hoping to rekindle some of the Super Bowl dreams that they had to begin the season. A good way to get back on track is to prove that your team is capable of beating teams with a certain degree of talent. Dallas has some really nice pieces but injuries and drinking their own Kool-Aid may send them into a spiral. Beating a team like the Los Angeles Chargers is paramount.

The Chargers enter the game on a two-game winning streak after beating the Vikings and Raiders. Now, they get a chance to prove that it is not a fluke and that they can be competitive with the "big dogs" of the NFL. The Cowboys are beat up on the defensive side of the ball, and the Chargers could be immediate beneficiaries. Even with Mike Williams gone for the year, the Chargers have one of the best offensive units in the league.

The bottom line: The Cowboys are all out of sorts and desperately need this one. Unfortunately, I don't think that they can hold up with their injuries against the high-powered Chargers offense. The Chargers should stun Dallas with their third loss of the season to send Skip Bayless and Cowboy Nation into a panicked frenzy. The Chargers will win this one in a one-possession game.

Prediction: Chargers 27, Cowboys 23
