We only have two weeks left of the NFL season and the Kansas City Chiefs still need to clinch a playoff spot, let alone the AFC West.
They can do that this Sunday when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals, who are trying to hang on to their playoff lives without their star quarterback, Joe Burrow.
If you want to check out the odds for the game, as well as my best bet, you can read my full betting preview here. In this article, we're focusing on player props. For the Chiefs to win, Patrick Mahomes needs to have a big game. Will he be able to do it against the Bengals? I certainly think so.

Best Prop Bets for Bengals vs. Chiefs
- Patrick Mahomes OVER 266.5 passing yards
- Justin Watson OVER 1.5 receptions
- Jake Browning UNDER 236.5 passing yards
Patrick Mahomes OVER 266.5 passing yards
If there's a team that's well-suited for Patrick Mahomes to have a bounce-back game against, it's the Cincinnati Bengals. Their secondary has been atrocious this season, ranking 28th in opponent dropback EPA and 31st in opponent dropback success rate, meaning quarterbacks have had a ton of success against them.
This isn't the same Bengals team the Chiefs have faced the past few seasons. Losing their top two safeties, Vonn Bell and Jessie Bates, has changed their defense from a solid unit to one of the worst units in the league. It's time to bet on Mahomes showing the football world he's still the best quarterback in the NFL.
Justin Watson OVER 1.5 receptions
Justin Watson has played over 60% of offensive snaps in five of the Chiefs' last seven games, and he may even be sliding into the No. 2 role at wide receiver with many of the other players at the position failing to live up to expectations.
All we need is for him to haul in two receptions for us to cash this bet and I think it should be an easy feat for him to achieve against this Bengals abysmal secondary.
Jake Browning UNDER 236.5 passing yards
While the Bengals' secondary is one of the worst in the NFL, the Chiefs' secondary is one of the best. They're third in the NFL in opponent yards per pass attempt, giving up just 5.5 yards per throw. Overall, they're giving up only 173.8 passing yards per game this season, the second-best mark in the NFL.
Despite that, Jake Browning's passing yards total is set all the way up at 236.5. There's a chance he doesn't touch that many yards against this stout Chiefs defense, I'll take the UNDER as my favorite prop bet of the game.
