For the fourth time in five years, the Chiefs are headed to the Super Bowl. This year's run is a little different: the Chiefs didn't have the prolific offense that they're used to having in the Pat Mahomes-Andy Reid era, they had some key injuries on defense, and they had to make this run on the road. Also, their tight end is dating maybe the most famous person on Earth. The Chiefs are headed to the Super Bowl, which means that Taylor Swift is (reportedly) heading to the Super Bowl, which means that Taylor Swift Is Heading To The Super Bowl Discourse is headed to the Super Bowl.

The Brands love nothing more than making Taylor Swift puns, and on Sunday evening, American Airlines wasted no time starting the bit. On one of their flights from Kansas City to Las Vegas over Super Bowl weekend, the flight number is 1989. Obviously they didn't stop there – they gave made the flight number on the return trip 87.

This feels like a good precursor for how the next two weeks are going to go. Truth be told, the NFL's probably thrilled to see that The Brands are already doing online marketing stunts around the Super Bowl. Twitter certainly loved it:

And a special shoutout should definitely go to whoever took the time to look this information up. That's a level of dedication not everyone has. They have a big couple weeks ahead of them.
