Check out the latest episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast where we take a look at the arrival of Hollywood Brown.
After 15 weeks and 14 games, Marquise "Hollywood" Brown is finally going to play some official snaps in red and gold.
The Kansas City Chiefs signed Brown to a one-year deal back in the spring to be their big free-agent prize on the offensive side, a one-year flyer on a proven wideout who would help the Chiefs stretch the field vertically to provide yet another reliable threat while also opening up space for playmakers underneath to do their worst.
Sad to say, that plan never got off the ground as Brown suffered what turned into a likely season-ending sternoclavicular issue when the veteran wideout had to undergo surgery to repair the injury following the team's first preseason game. With his first catch in K.C., it looked as if Brown was done in K.C.—until an earlier-than-expected return date came into view.
Brown has come off of injured reserve and is now in practice for the Chiefs and reportedly looking great. He's going to be ready to make up for lost time, which has us excited for his first potential appearance on Saturday against the visiting Houston Texans.
On the latest Arrowhead Addict episode, hosts Adam Best and Patrick Allen tackle a number of subjects while also checking out the KC Stock Market to talk Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, Xavier Worthy, Travis Kelce, and much more!
