Chiefs vs Bills inactives: JuJu Smith-Schuster among active players for Week 11
By Matt Conner
All eyes are on Orchard Park on Sunday afternoon.
Even in a loaded NFL slate featuring multiple games between true contenders, this week's highlight for NFL fans is the scheduled visit by the Kansas City Chiefs to Orchard Park, New York where they will face the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium.
This game is a major boost for the NFL, and CBS has to be ecstatic they were given the broadcast rights to the game. The game not only features tremendous star power—and perhaps the two best quarterbacks in the game today in Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen—but it also consists of two teams who will likely be fighting for the right to represent the AFC in this year's Super Bowl.
Let's take a look at which players are in and out for the Chiefs-Bills matchup for Week 11.
The Chiefs come to town as the only unbeaten team left in the National Football League this season. The Bills, however, have won five in a row with a red-hot offense that's not scored less than 30 points in a single game over the last month. Both teams are deep with few problem areas on the roster. They're also well-coached.
What might make the difference in this meeting are the players who won't be able to suit up. The Chiefs have already declared running back Isiah Pacheco out for the day as well as pass rusher Charles Omenihu. That's not including the numerous losses on IR, ranging from the team's top two wideouts in Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown to starting corner Jaylen Watson.
The Bills have their own laundry list of injuries. Rookie wideout Keon Coleman is out on the offensive side along with starting tight end Dalton Kincaid. Linebacker Matt Milano will also miss the game, and anyone who's watched his previous performances against K.C. will know just how greatly his absence will be felt.
As for players on the fence, wideouts will be the ones to watch. Will Amari Cooper be healthy enough to play despite the questionable moniker for Week 11? Will JuJu Smith-Schuster be okay for the first time in a month for the Chiefs? At the very least, the latter is active and expected to play so that's a positive sign there.
