Winning games is hard in the NFL. Winning a Super Bowl is even harder. The Kansas City Chiefs know all about both of these things. They started the season 5-0 and now have dropped two games in a row.

The latest loss came in Denver against the Broncos. The most frustrating part is that the Chiefs seemingly had that game in the bag but choked it away in the final minutes. And it could come back to bite them.

Yet, when it comes to the Super Bowl 61 odds according to DraftKings, the Chiefs are still amongst the favorites to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in February. Even after dropping two straight games, Kansas City has the third-best odds to win the Super Bowl. Let's take a look at the odds as well as every team's odds to win their respective conference.

The Chiefs continue to sit behind the 49ers and Bills in the Super Bowl 61 odds. What's interesting is that, despite K.C. having the third-best odds to win the Super Bowl behind one NFC and one AFC team, they hold the third-best odds to win the conference. Buffalo is ahead of them and so is Jacksonville.

Last week, after suffering their first loss of the season, Kansas City sat with +850 odds to win the Super Bowl and were at +360 to win the AFC. With that in mind, their odds didn't take that much of a hit after a second straight loss but with Buffalo continuing to win and Jacksonville putting on a clinic on Sunday, it makes sense that their odds are continuing to grow.

It's clear that the Chiefs' biggest threats to winning the conference are the Bills and Jaguars. But Kansas City isn't even leading its own division right now so let's turn our attention to that.

Here are DraftKings' odds for the AFC West.

It's safe to say that, at 0-7, the Chargers are out of this race. The Raiders are technically still hanging around but likely aren't going to be a threat in another few weeks. So yeah, the AFC West crown is a two-horse race and Denver took the lead with its win in Week 8.

Even with the back-to-back losses, however, the Chiefs are still getting favorable odds across the board. That's likely due to how dominant they've been under Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid and that they know how to win in big games and big moments.
