The Dallas Cowboys (Pick 26)

Why it makes sense for them:

The Cowboys are one of those teams that could be sneakily in the market for a new quarterback.

While Jerry Jones has been adamant that Dak Prescott is the guy for the future, the Cowboys would be foolish not to consider their long-term options. In this case, they could either look to move Prescott for draft capital later, or they could draft a late-first-round quarterback to pair with him as a project.

Either way, the Cowboys are a team that is in a prime position to add a new quarterback for the long haul. Whether they would want draft capital for this year or next, they would certainly be interested in more draft capital to create flexibility.

Likelihood of Chiefs trading for this pick: Low

Again, the move here would only be to jump Buffalo and Cincinnati if there is a guy that they want to keep off of their rosters. Dallas may be a team that would like to gain as much capital as possible for the long term, but the draft board would have to fall just right for the Chiefs to covet the 26th pick in the draft over their own at 31.
