Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Caitlin Clark pulls up another crazy highlight. Sounds like a certain quarterback we are quite familiar with…
Look, Caitlin Clark already has us hooked. We’re in all the way on this year’s women’s NCAA Tournament and, specifically, the Final Four (which has been outstanding to watch all the way around) and a big part of the joy has been watching Iowa superstar Caitlin Clark put up a clinic against every opponent with one highlight play or jaw-dropping score after another.
As it turns out, she’s not out of tricks just yet.
Early in the team’s game in the championship contest against Louisiana State University, Clark was in rare form—so rare that it even sounded off alarm bells for those used to watching her do what she does best.
After coming down from a high that was a mixture of shock, laughter, and awe, my first thought was that I’ve been watching someone who reminded me of Patrick Mahomes in their own way—with a dominance in their sport that borders on being silly and a seemingly endless ability to pull off something unexpected.
Mahomes himself has already expressed his praise for Clark as she continues to push Iowa forward. However, there are plenty of others on Twitter who are seeing her as the Mahomes of her own given sport.

For some, Clark is grouped with Mahomes on a short list of the greatest athletes working today.
And some of us are perhaps enamored even more with Clark than what some might expect.
