KC Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is going to fight for his right to party on Saturday Night Live.

As it turns out, when you win the Super Bowl, the festivities don’t necessarily end after the game, a bit of confetti, an afterparty, and a parade a few days later. The Kansas City Chiefs are here, there, and everywhere these days after hoisting the Lombardi for Super Bowl LVII, and Travis Kelce is the latest star on the spotlight once again with a future hosting date for Saturday Night Live.

The long-running late-nigh sketch comedy show made an announcement for hosts for their next few episodes on Thursday. Situated between actor Woody Harrelson on February 25 and actress Jenna Ortega on March 11 is Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce on March 4, all scheduled to be hosts for Saturday Night Live in the next few weeks.

Kelce is no stranger to television after having his own dating show a few years ago entitled Catching Kelce. This year, he’s become a household name if he was not already due to the success of the team, his historic production, and his charismatic personality. He’s been ranked among the NFL’s top march sellers for several years, but his New Heights podcast with his brother Jason and the subsequent Super Bowl run by both teams has definitely elevated his status even more.

Kelce recently appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, his second such appearance in his career. He’s also been on the Today show twice and starred as himself on a short-lived Showtime comedy called Moonbase 8 with Fred Armisen, John C. Reilly, and Tim Heidecker.

It’s all part of the world of celebrity, especially when you’re at the top.
