Let’s track which players are active or inactive for each team in Super Bowl LVII.
Here we are. This one’s for all the marbles and the final game of the 2022 season in the National Football League is nearly complete. In the end, Super Bowl 57 was about as ideal of a matchup as the powers that be could have asked for, with a coaching legend against a rookie, two young quarterbacks among the best in the game, and the two top-ranked teams from each conference in the Philadelphia Eagles (NFC) and Kansas City Chiefs (AFC).
With one game to go, that also means we have one injury report left to go. This specific one will tell us the official designation and game-time status of several players who’ve been working through injuries in practice this week (or not).
For the Chiefs, the team has already declared wide receiver Mecole Hardman out of the game due to a re-aggravated groin/pelvic injury. From there, recent concerns have ranged from Patrick Mahomes’ ankle and Travis Kelce’s back to JuJu Smith-Schuster’s knee and Kadarius Toney’s ankle. The Eagles had a few concerns as well but most should be cleared up game time, including injuries to their offensive line like Lane Johnson and Landon Dickerson.
