Let’s look at the first glimpses of what this year’s NFL Draft will look like with the festivities on the ground in Kansas City.

The greater Kansas City region scored a big win a few years ago when their plan to host a weekend of draft festivities for the National Football League was approved. The three-day event is a wonderful showcase on a national stage of the beauty and opportunity of an area and provides a considerable economic boost—not only in the moment but also when it comes to long-term tourism.

With the 2023 NFL Draft coming up in just two months, K.C. residents should be getting very excited as Chiefs Kingdom has the chance to play host in ways that other cities like Nashville, Las Vegas, and Chicago have in recent years.

On Friday, we received some of our first glimpses from the K.C. Sports Commission when it comes to the 2023 NFL Draft and the way the city plans to use iconic locations in the area as a backdrop for the millions of viewers and visitors for the weekend.

Check out the first look at what things could look like at places like Union Station.

If that doesn’t get you excited, then we can’t help you. The only thing better would be if the Chiefs were to have the last pick in each round because they’re hosting the draft as the reigning Super Bowl champions.

The 2023 NFL Draft is slated for April 27-29, and it will be a busy weekend even for the Chiefs as they should have another 10 picks or more when all is said and done.
