Chiefs Odds to Win Super Bowl (Kansas City slight underdog to Philadelphia)
By Reed Wallach
The AFC championship game had heart stopping plays on both sides, but the Chiefs emerged victorious, knocking off the Bengals to win 23-20 and go to their third Super Bowl in four years.
Kansas City has been banged up during their postseason run, which could be baked into their point spread as they enter as slight underdogs to the NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Kansas City has a laundry list of injuries that they need to recover from heading into the Super Bowl. Patrick Mahomes played a sprained ankle and Travis Kelce was a late addition to the injury report with a back injury. Both played at a high level in the AFC title game despite their injuries, and now get an extra week to heal up.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs ended the game with nearly all backups at wide receiver against the Bengals as Kadarius Toney, Mecole Hardman and JuJu Smith-Schuster all left the games with injuries. Again, the Chiefs will hope that the injuries are not all that severe and their key pass catchers will be close to 100% for the Super Bowl.
The Eagles outscored their two opponents in the NFC playoffs 69-14, outclassing two inferior offenses, but now they get the Chiefs, who enter with the top offense in the league on an EPA/Play basis with Mahomes getting two weeks to rest his bulky ankle.
While KC is listed as an underdog for the moment, this line may continue to shift and the difference between the two teams are very small.
