Isiah Pacheco, Running Back (Round 7, Pick 251)

Despite the Chiefs winning virtually the entire game, rookie running back Isiah Pacheco only saw eight touches. He finished the game with eight carries for 64 yards, one touchdown, and a long of 31 yards. He also played very well in his limited pass protection snaps.

Although he didn’t see many carries, I don’t think there’s much reason to worry, if you’re a Chiefs fan. The Chiefs didn’t feed their big players a ton. Travis Kelce only saw seven targets, JuJu Smith-Schuster two, and Jerick McKinnon only had five touches. Ronald Jones had a season-high ten rushing attempts. Pacheco and McKinnon are the guys heading into the playoffs. The lack of action in Week 18 shouldn’t concern anyone as the team didn’t want to risk their non-Patrick Mahomes offensive players once the game got out of hand.

Leo Chenal, Linebacker (Round 3, Pick 103)

After a blip in the radar last week, Leo Chenal continued his stretch of playing great football. In Las Vegas, he was great against the run, recording a defensive stop, and did not miss a tackle. Tight end Foster Moreau did get the best of him on his only target of the afternoon, recording a 10-yard catch, but it was still a solid day for the rookie linebacker.

Leo Chenal is getting hot at the exact right time. Nick Bolton and Willie Gay should be the primary guys in the playoffs, with Leo Chenal mixing in, and Darius Harris should continue to see a limited role.

Bryan Cook, Safety (Round 2, Pick 62)

It was a pretty quiet game for Bryan Cook as he played 24 snaps but only saw one target in 23 coverage snaps. He allowed a single 11-yard catch to Darren Waller and that was the only action he saw all game. With Juan Thornhill and Justin Reid playing extremely well since the Cincinnati game, Cook should continue to rotate in as the third safety on the depth chart.
