The Kansas City Chiefs employ two of the top three vote-getters for this year’s Pro Bowl, at least at this stage of voting.

Voting is currently underway for this year’s Pro Bowl, and while vote totals are still in the very early stages, the Kansas City Chiefs are well-represented so far with two of the top three vote-getters. Both quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce are locked in at No. 2 and 3 at the present moment, leading their respective positions in votes as they both sit behind Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings.

It’s no surprise to see the popularity of Mahomes and Kelce at this point, since both are near-locks to earn future induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Both players have continued to set new career benchmarks throughout this season and they serve as the 1-2 punch of the league’s most dynamic offense.

Kelce, at this stage, leads the NFL in touchdowns with 12, a new career-high for him. He has 73 catches for 912 receiving yards and is well on his way to a 7th consecutive 1,000-yard season, which would extend his own record once again for tight ends.

As for Mahomes, he’s the MVP frontrunner as the league’s leader in passing yards (XXXX) and touchdowns (29). Even without Tyreek Hill as his go-to receiver, Mahomes has grown accustomed to a whole new wide receiver room while maintaining the successful status quo that has helped the Chiefs host four consecutive AFC Championship games.

In front of both is Jefferson, a wide receiver for the Vikings who is shattering records himself for production in his first few years in the league.
