Ahead of his rookie season, Skyy Moore has the opportunity to be an instant success. Are you buying or selling his fantasy football stock?

Depending upon the context in which the question of whether to buy or sell Skyy Moore‘s fantasy football stock is asked, he may or may not be the apple of your eye. Rookies, as a general rule, tend to make a lesser impact on their new teams’ success, and, in terms of wideouts, there is typically a single individual who separates himself from the rest of their class. Whether or not Skyy Moore can be that guy in 2022 is a worthwhile discussion.

Last year, the league was introduced to Ja’Marr Chase who hauled in over 1,400 yards and 13 touchdowns. In 2020, Justin Jefferson was the big dog with 1,400 yards and seven scores. In 2019, it was A.J. Brown in the spotlight with 1,051 yards and eight TDs. Can Moore be a 1,000-yard receiver in his rookie year? With Patrick Mahomes at the helm, anything is possible.

When considering the talent that went off the board before Moore, it would be bold to claim him as the best WR in the 2022 draft class. However, When considering the sheer opportunity, he likely has the best of any of his competition.

Of the 11 wide receivers drafted ahead of Moore, Christian Watson (Packers) is the only other one set to catch passes from a quarterback with an MVP award. In terms of prospects, the Drake Londons, Garrett Wilsons, and Jameson Williams of the 2022 draft have an advantage over Moore in overall talent, but none of them is in a position to earn the bump that comes along with playing alongside a generational quarterback.

The two biggest points to consider when deciding whether or not to pick Moore in your fantasy draft are the quarterback he will be playing with and the talent he will be measured against. Your league mates are likely to call you crazy if you take him as the first rookie receiver off the board, but no other talent from the 2022 draft class is poised to inherit the blessing of playing alongside Patrick Mahomes. Further, if you are feeling frisky in a dynasty league, that is all the reason you need to jump all over him.

Whatever we see from him this season likely won’t be his peak; he has a full rookie contract to build a connection with the best quarterback in the league. Buying Skyy Moore fantasy stock is sure to be a sound investment.
