It looks as if some players are enjoying giving Kansas City Chiefs rookie Skyy Moore the rookie treatment before the season begins.

Every year, the newest crop of first-year players coming into the National Football League are asked (or tasked) to do various things in the name of rookie hazing. It’s part of the culture of most sports to give the youngest faces a harder time as they acclimate to the league, and it’s often under the banner of having some playful fun at the sake of the younger player.

For Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Skyy Moore, it came down to catching something unexpected—a seriously massive receipt for the team’s rookie dinner from 801 Chophouse.

Over the weekend, Moore posted the prank himself on his social media channels and revealed. how shocked he was at the extent of the joke. When it came time to pay for the meal, Moore saw the total of nearly $23,000 and freaked out. (As it would for any one of us.)

Fortunately for Moore, teammate Marquez Valdes-Scantling took care of the real bill, which was not the $23K version handed to Moore in the first place. If you look at the receipt, it’s an obvious prank given that it doesn’t include a single listing of any food/drink item. The server is also Alex S, which could be real but it could also be a funny way of including former Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith in the mix.

You can check out the resulting response videos below that Moore showed to fans immediately after getting the receipt.
