Travis Kelce set to present at 2022 ESPY Awards
By Matt Conner
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will be one of the presenters on hand at this year’s ESPY Awards, hosted by Steph Curry.
Every year, the folks at ESPN select a date in the midst of the summer doldrums to highlight the past 12 months of the sports calendar with the annual ESPY Awards ceremony and gala that brings together some of the world’s greatest athletes in order to pay tribute to their accomplishments of the last year.
This year, the ESPY Awards will feature a number of big-name presenters, including Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who was announced as a participant on Monday.
Kelce is an outstanding choice for those who make such calls because he’s a deserving athlete who is one of the NFL’s most popular and accomplished players. At the same time, he’s also a gregarious personality whose charisma makes him a fan favorite on and off of the field.
While the ESPYs are a celebration of all sports, several stars from the National Football League will be on hand, including free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., quarterback Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, quarterback Russell Wilson of the Denver Broncos, and a few members of the Super Bowl-winning L.A. Rams like defensive tackle Aaron Donald, quarterback Matthew Stafford, and wideout Cooper Kupp.
The 2022 ESPY Awards are scheduled for this Wednesday, July 20, at 7:00 p.m. C.T.. and will be hosted by Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry.
