Linval Joseph, NT

Linval Joseph, like every player on this list, likely won’t be a game-changer for the Kansas City Chiefs but he would be a solid addition as a rotational defensive lineman.

Joseph was the 46th overall, from East Carolina, back in 2010 by the New York Giants, with whom he won a super bowl. He also spent six years in Minnesota and two years with the Chargers.

Joseph has never been a stout pass rusher, only racking up 25 career sacks in 180 career regular season and playoff games. Even though pass rushing has never been his primary asset in the NFL, he did obtain a career-high 83.0 PFF pass-rushing grade last season with the Chargers. He has always been a solid run defender over his career, achieving a 90.0+ PFF run-defense grade in 2015 and 2017 with the Vikings.

Although his NFL career is closer to the end than the start, Joseph can absolutely still be a decent addition. He would have to compete with other depth pieces, like Khalen Saunders, Turk Wharton, and Taylor Stallworth to make the final roster, but a defensive line can never have too many big guys rotating in and one throughout a game.
