The hype for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross has reached a fever pitch on Twitter in rookie mini-camp.
The Kansas City Chiefs‘ rookie class didn’t need any help earning acclaim and applause from fans and analysts alike as the 2022 NFL Draft was coming to a close. WIth 10 total selections, general manager Brett Veach laid a solid foundation with specific attention to the defense that brought in anchor picks along defensive line and secondary.
On the other side of the team’s annual rookie mini-camp, it’s interesting to see how even more hype the team’s first-year players have gotten with the addition of wide receiver Justyn Ross.
Ross joined the Chiefs shortly after the draft was completed without hearing his name selected. The Chiefs landed him with a rookie free agent deal that immediately turned heads, bringing on board the potential that once had him pegged as a future first-round pick after a sensational start to his collegiate career at Clemson.
These days, Ross is trying to prove he can stay healthy after some scary injuries in recent years, but the ceiling for what Ross can bring—in addition to the arrival of second-round pick Skyy Moore—has fans overly excited. In fact, the hype train is running full steam at this point if you just take a cursory look at Twitter.
Fans were already excited, but when the Chiefs put this footage out, everyone lost their minds.
