The Kansas City Chiefs continue to build their offseason roster before the 2022 NFL Draft with various free agent signings, and the next one might be coming along the defensive interior.

Per his agent Brett Tessler, former Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Taylor Stallworth is going to be visiting Arrowhead Stadium on Tuesday in the hopes of securing a potential deal with the Chiefs.

Stallworth has proven to be a reliable player up front for the Colts over the last two seasons with 32 total games played in that span. He joined the Colts two seasons ago after first playing two years with the New Orleans Saints after signing as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina (which makes him a familiar face for Chiefs cornerback Rashad Fenton).

The Kansas City Chiefs will reportedly host defensive tackle Taylor Stallworth for a free agent visit on Tuesday, per his agent.

Stallworth played in 33 percent of defensive snaps for the Colts last season after playing in 25 percent the previous year, and he rewarded the team with a leap in production. He had 13 pressures, 9 knockdowns, and 3 sacks last season for the Colts in limited duty, so perhaps Brett Veach likes him as an emerging disruptive presence inside after being known as more stout against the run in his first few seasons.

The Chiefs have a good competition already up front after deciding to bring back Derrick Nnadi on a one-year deal. It gives them a projected interior already of Chris Jones and Nnadi to compete with Khalen Saunders and Turk Wharton and whoever else they add in the draft. Others on the roster include Lorenzo Neal, Andrew Billings, Cortez Broughton, and Darius Stills.
