Baltimore Ravens

31st pick: Odafe Oweh, Edge, Penn State
Oweh had a really strong start to the season, garnering 13 combined tackles, five QB hits, three sacks, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery in his first five games. By that time, he was immediately running for Defensive Rookie of the Year despite only starting for one game (Week 3). He did cool off over the last ten games he played (Weeks 6-16); however, he earned himself a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team this season.

Additionally, Oweh finished off with a 67.9 PFF grade and was tied 8th in forced fumbles (three) among other defensive ends this season. He also had the third-most QB pressures among rookie defenders this season (49).

Overall, Oweh showed the Ravens organization that they have something in the defensive line to develop. He did fairly well, and I’d expect more from him next season.

Grade: B

94th pick: Ben Cleveland, G, Georgia
Cleveland played in 12 games this season, starting in four of them. In 367 offensive snaps, Cleveland did a solid job, not allowing any sacks this season. He has shown to be an okay run blocker, but that’s where it ends. PFF graded him at a 55.8 this season, which shows he has plenty of work to do this offseason.

He wasn’t good but wasn’t terrible either. He had some highlights but also had some falters in his play. I’d say he was average this season and played his role well enough when he did play.

Grade: C

136th pick: Traded to the Arizona Cardinals

  • Ravens received: 2021 5th round selection (160th pick) and 2022 4th round selection
  • Cardinals received: 136th pick and 2021 6th round pick (210th)

160th pick: Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio State
To fly through this pick quickly, Wade didn’t stay in Baltimore for long nor did he ever play a game with them. On August 26th, 2021, Wade was traded to the New England Patriots for a 2022 7th round pick and a 2023 5th round pick. He only totaled one tackle last season. Because of this, there isn’t a grade for him since he didn’t play a game for the Ravens this past season.

Grade: N/A; traded before he played a snap

Overall Ravens’ grade: B-

First-Year Winner: Kansas City Chiefs
