Patrick Mahomes was hilarious on Twitter after seeing the way his own 40-yard dash time was used during the NFL Combine broadcasts.

If you were tuned into the NFL Networkโ€™s broadcast of the 2022 NFL Combine on Thursday, you were likely drawn to the drills featuring this yearโ€™s wide receiver class. Thatโ€™s because some of them turned in some incredible performances in various drills, including some smokinโ€™ fast times in the 40-yard dash.

While the official times released later on were a bit slower, theย unofficial times displayed during the broadcast were what had so many people talking about them on Twitter.

Specifically, there was a single run by Baylor wideout Tyquan Thornton that set the Combine ablaze. Comparisons of Chris Johnson or even John Ross were brought up in the aftermath because it came down to this.

Hereโ€™s a look at Thorntonโ€™s race:

After seeing that, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes made it clear he was watching the same broadcast that you were and he responded on Twitter.

From there, NFL Network even brought Mahomes into their broadcast (although itโ€™s; doubtful anyone did so in response to Mahomes being on Twitter). But as the network wanted to highlight the speed of Cincinnati quarterback Desmond Ridder, they overlaid the footage from Russell Wilson, Marcus Mariota, and Patrick Mahomes.

Given how Mahomes looks in this specific bunch, you can imagine the hilarious response that Mahomes put up afterward.

Mahomes wasnโ€™t the only one who noticed either. Seattle Seahawks safety Quandre Diggs, who is scheduled to be a free agent by the way, agreed with Mahomes and laughed.

Weโ€™re just glad Mahomes can have a sense of humor about all of this.
