Super Bowl 57 odds: KC Chiefs, Bills are early co-favorites
By Matt Conner
It was only seconds after the clock officially drained to zero, crowning the Los Angeles Rams as champions of Super Bowl 56, when oddsmakers from various sportsbooks all over the country began to release their odds for Super Bowl 57. The popular refrain was seeing the Kansas City Chiefs back where they’ve been for the last few years—among the favorites to take it all.
According to our friends at WynnBET, the Chiefs and Buffalo Bills are the co-favorites to win it all in 2022 with odds set at +700. In betting terms, that will provide a bettor with $7 for every single dollar bet on either contender to win it all right now.
Chiefs Kingdom is still likely shaking its collective head after watching the actual Super Bowl from Sunday night. Neither the Rams nor the Cincinnati Bengals put up any sort of dominant display, which makes it easy to wonder what might have been had the Chiefs not suffered a still unexplainable second-half meltdown in the AFC Championship game.
The Super Bowl odds for the 2022 season are out and the Chiefs and Bills are the favorites to win.
Following the Chiefs and Bills come the actual Super Bowl participants from this year’s big game, both of which are tied at +1200. They are tied with the San Francisco 49ers (for reasons that are beyond me in the present moment). Even weirder is the Denver Broncos coming in next, which shows that oddsmakers truly believe they’re gonna land a big fish (or that Drew Lock is taking steroids).
The Chiefs were the favorites before the 2021 season but came up short in the AFC Championship game. They’ll have to answer significant decisions with two dozen free agents hitting the market, coaching changes and more. It should be an exciting offseason ahead for Chiefs Kingdom, but no matter the changes, bettors know the core is there for another run in 2022.
