In just a few hours, either the Kansas City Chiefs or the visiting Cincinnati Bengals will be dousing themselves and anyone close by with loads of champagne knowing they will represent the AFC in Super Bowl LVI. The only thing standing between each franchise is the will of the other.

For the Bengals, they are hoping that a previous matchup at home at Paul Brown Stadium paved the way for a repeat performance on the road at Arrowhead Stadium one month later. Back in Week 17, the Bengals put together a game-winning drive at the end of regulation with kicker Evan McPherson kicking the go-ahead field goal. It was a game that cost the Chiefs the top-seed in the AFC and the benefit of a first-round bye.

For the Chiefs, they’re hoping that the extremely close nature of the first game isn’t representative of this second one, especially now that they are at home. The Chiefs are playing lights-out at this stage and put together a miracle of an ending last week against the Buffalo Bills. Can the Chiefs rise up again? Can the Bengals keep playing with house money?

Here are the inactive players for Chiefs vs. Bengals in the AFC Championship game.

Two young teams will clash at Arrowhead but only one will keep their season alive, and much of it might come down to how healthy these rosters stay through another game.

For the Chiefs, the big question was at running back with Darrel Williams being questionable but he is active. Tyrann Mathieu was declared ready to play at safety, so he is now a known quantity.

Here’s the list of Chiefs players who are officially inactive:

  • Joshua Kaindoh, defensive end
  • Prince Tega Wanogho, offensive line
  • Shane Buechele, quarterback
  • Derrick Gore, runnning back
  • Deandre Baker, cornerback
  • Khalen Saunders, defensive line

Here’s the list of Bengals players who are officially inactive:

  • Cameron Sample, defensive line
  • Joshua Tupuo, defensive line
  • Stanley Morgan, wide receiver
  • Trenton Irwin, wide receiver
  • Fred Johnson, offensive line
  • Trayvenon Williams, halfback
  • Vernon Hargreaves, cornerback

The Bengals and Chiefs kick off at Arrowhead Stadium at 2:00 C.T at Arrowhead Stadium.
