Let’s put a few things in context here.

Even when we discuss the question marks for the Kansas City Chiefs as they prepare to host a visit from the Cincinnati Bengals, the truth is that the questions are relatively easy to address. The Chiefs have the best quarterback on the field (and in the NFL) in Patrick Mahomes. They’ve got future Hall of Fame players ready to do something with the ball once Mahomes gets it to them. They have a creative genius of a coach who has seen it all directing the plays.

There are good reasons why the Chiefs are favored by 7 points in the AFC Championship game at this stage. It’s because they are the better team. So as we discuss questions that the Chiefs have, you should remember that none of them are really that pressing. There are reasons for hope behind each potential concern, and even if all things go to hell in each of the following categories, the truth is that K.C. could still probably overcome most of them to put away a win.

That said, the Bengals are a great team and nothing is set until the games are played. We definitely don’t want to get ahead of ourselves and anticipate something we should have been more careful about.

Here are the four biggest questions faced by the Chiefs this weekend in the AFC Championship game.
