Ranking the KC Chiefs against the rest of the AFC playoff teams

3. Buffalo Bills
While the Buffalo Bills may not have looked great against the New York Jets in Week 18, I still think they are one of the three most likely teams to make a run to the Super Bowl out of the AFC. The Bills are a team with a solid defense and an offense that can put up points. Josh Allen has proven that last season was not a fluke. While his numbers are down from last year a little he has remained a playmaker both throwing and running with the ball.
Buffalo also has quality playoff experience. They won two games in the playoffs last year before eventually losing to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship. They also beat the Chiefs earlier this season. However, I couldn’t justify putting them any higher than this because outside of the Chiefs win, their only other quality win is over the Patriots.
The Bills actually split their two games with the Patriots this season and now they’ll meet for a third time in the playoffs. I think the most important thing for the Bills to do in this game is score early and force Mac Jones and the Patriots to try and keep pace. If they can keep this game from becoming a low scoring slugfest they should be okay. If they make it past New England I do think the Bills have a fighting chance against the Chiefs. I still think K.C.’s “A game” is better than the Bills, but if K.C. stumbles a little the Bills could absolutely make them pay.
