AFC West report: Chiefs, Chargers shift ahead of rivals in Week 13
By Ellen Mathis
Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs continued their defensive prowess in a decisive win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football. The Broncos were hoping to end the 11-game losing streak to the Chiefs but they could do nothing against the incredible stifling defense for K.C. In this game, the defense deserves all the praise, and most notably, Dan Sorensen, Ben Niemann, and Juan Thornhill. Observe:

The Chiefs’ offense remains frustrating. You would think with all the talent that they would be better, but alas, they continue to shoot themselves in the feet with drops and turnovers. The playcalling, surprisingly, also leaves a lot to be desired.
However, if the Chiefs can get their offense figured out, this team is going to be incredible. The Chiefs left this game relatively injury-free as they look ahead to Raiders week. They get to take on the Raiders in Arrowhead who would love nothing more than to play spoiler to their hopes of an AFC West crown. Everyone needs to put their best performance together for Sunday in hopes of rolling toward the playoffs and a clean sweep of the Raiders in 2021.
