It’s a good week, once again, to talk about the Kansas City Chiefs.

In the wake of an 18-point win for the Chiefs over the Washington Football Team, the single biggest deficit for any Chiefs victory so far in 2021, there are a lot of reasons to be smiling about the second half efficiency of the offense, the way the defense held WFT to a season-low 13 points, and the fact that many players are getting healthy and/or getting on track (we’re looking at you, Josh Gordon) for more PT in the future.

On this episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast, hosts Sterling Holmes and Matt Conner break down what they liked most from the Chiefs defense in Week 6 and the importance of younger players getting playing time like Rashad Fenton and Juan Thornhill. We also discuss the online angst surrounding Tyrann Mathieu with some Chiefs fans and analysts as well as the potential addition of former Houston Texans defensive end Whitney Mercilus, who is right now a free agent reportedly linked to the team.

Later in the show, we also get into some running back projections and just how tough the Tennessee Titans are expected to be in Week 7 with some early week predictions to get us looking ahead.
