The Kansas City Chiefs had a nightmare of a first half against the Buffalo Bills and their fans on Twitter were not happy about it.

Buffalo scored pretty much at will in the first half, moving the ball up and down the field with ease. In fact, despite the Chiefs dominating the time of possession, the Bills took a 24-13 lead into the locker room. The Chiefs blew multiple assignments and they couldn’t stop Josh Allen from running or throwing on them.

To be fair, the Chiefs were missing their best defender in defensive lineman Chris Jones. Still, the Kansas City defense has been awful all season long. Despite having most of the same personnel they had a year ago when the Chiefs went to the Super Bowl, something about the unit this season seems to be broken. It isn’t just one thing, either. The Chiefs have struggled in all phases from the run and pass defense, to penalties, communication issues, and lack of pass rush.

A fanbase that was already frustrated with the play of the K.C. defense let them have it.

Even fans of opposing teams got in on the action.

The defense played a little better in the second half but that won’t be much of consolation on Monday because the Chiefs defense will remain one of the worst in the NFL.
