How many fantasy points did Tyreek Hill score?
By Matt Conner
When a team puts up 42 points of offense, that means monster fantasy football points for someone—and likely more than one person—and that’s certainly true for multiple members of the K.C. Chiefs on Sunday. In Week 4, Patrick Mahomes threw for 5 touchdowns, Clyde Edwards-Helaire enjoyed a another 100-yard game, and even Darrel Williams and Jody Fortson made their owners happy—if someone took such a flyer in your league.
However, no one had the day that Tyreek Hill had.
This is the sort of day we all knew the Kansas City Chiefs offense could have all along. With offensive pillars among the team’s pass catchers, including those slated for future induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, to go with the game’s best quarterback, the Chiefs found a way to make the offense click in one of the single most efficient days in franchise history—to the tune of 7 touchdowns on eight drives against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Tyreek Hill put up crazy numbers of 11 catches for 186 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns. Not only did he score on shorter passes, including an incredible laser near the goal line from Mahomes in the fourth quarter, but he also fooled the defense late for a last-minute score to put the dagger in the Eagles—as if the game wasn’t already won. That’s not to mention the work he did on his first touchdown catch-and-run in which he juked multiple Philly defenders for his first touchdown of the game.
If you’re wondering how this all adds up, it means monster numbers for those who had Tyreek in fantasy football on Sunday.
What’s even more amazing is that this is the second-highest yardage total for the season for Tyreek Hill in only four games. In the season-opening game against the Cleveland Browns, Hill had 11 catches for 197 yards and a single touchdown in Week 1. That performance, however, was approximately 10 fantasy football points behind this one due to the extra touchdowns receiving for Hill.
So far on the season, Hill has 453 yards receiving on 30 catches including 4 touchdowns through four games.
