Wyatt Miller, OT

Wyatt Miller entered the NFL as a versatile, experienced player who enjoyed solid success at Central Florida during his career. He started a total of 47 games, mostly at right tackle, although he spent his entire final season on the left side, which gave him an impressive resume with which to enter the league.

Somehow Miller’s experience didn’t coerce any general manager to utilize a draft pick on him, despite the lack of solid tackle play in the NFL these days. From there, the New York Jets came calling, however, and Miller earned himself a deal as a rookie free agent following the 2019 NFL Draft.

Since then, Miller has earned closer looks from the Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals, and Seattle Seahawks over the last two years before the Chiefs signed him only a few weeks ago. The Chiefs have reinvented the entire line this offseason and the right side is up for grabs. But there are also more competitors than ever, it seems, and it’s hard to see Miller beating out the likes of Kyle Long, Mike Remmers, Lucas Niang and more for a final roster spot. Perhaps a practice squad slot is in view?
