The Clear Top Dogs

There are several teams that have reason to believe that they can win a Super Bowl this coming season, but there are two that stand out above all the others. You could really put either of these two teams in the top spot because they are both clearly the teams to beat in their respective conferences again this season.

1. Kansas City Chiefs

Look, I’m admittedly a homer, but I’m giving the slight edge to the Chiefs. They are younger, especially at the most important position, quarterback. Patrick Mahomes is the most exciting player in the NFL and when you give him a pair of elite weapons like Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce and a Hall of Fame coach in Andy Reid, he has to be the betting favorite. Plus, the Chiefs rebuilt their one weak spot in the Super Bowl, the offensive line, and the defense should be just as good or better than last season.

You can find my prediction for the Chiefs 53 man roster HERE.

2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

If someone wanted to argue the Bucs should be number one in these rankings, I wouldn’t argue with them. They are the defending champions and are basically returning the entire team. They have to be considered a real threat to repeat. Ultimately, the only reason I didn’t put them in the top spot is that father time is undefeated and Tom Brady will be 44 when the season starts.

Now let’s look at some of the other Super Bowl contenders, including several teams the Chiefs will face this season.
