Albert Wilson

Former Chiefs receiver Albert Wilson was picked up by Kansas City back in 2014 as an UDFA out of Georgia State. Wilson ended up being one of the better undrafted free agent pickups in recent memory for the Chiefs.

Over four seasons with the team, Wilson hauled in 124 receptions for over 1,500 yards and 7 TD’s. For an undrafted free agent, those are good numbers. Wilson was fast and shifty and the perfect compliment to a young Tyreek Hill, Jeremy Maclin, and Chris Conley back in the day. While Wilson was frustrating at times, he always seemed to be in the right place at the right time with some of his catches.

Wilson ended up signing with the Miami Dolphins in free agency a couple years ago for three years and $24 million after a nice stretch with Kansas City. Wilson was a fun story and definitely an under-appreciated player who helped get Kansas City to where they are now.
