Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos traveled to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers. The Broncos continue to be a mess. This week was plagued by Jerry Jeudy dropping passes. Denver looked like they might make a comeback late and hang yet another last-second loss to the Chargers, but alas, they did not. Drew Lock had a chance to lead his team to a win, but his desperation pass was intercepted on the final play of the game.

The Broncos are just sad this year, but one thing I found admirable was Jeudy owning up to the drops.

As the Broncos head towards the final week of the season, the biggest question is at the quarterback position, yet it seems as if John Elway is pretty set on sticking with Drew Lock. Adding healthy players as well as better protection for Lock seems to be important as well. They have so much talent, but it does not appear to be utilized properly. Maybe the issue is coaching? But there is not change at the head coach position forthcoming.

The Broncos wrap up the 2020 season by hosting the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders have completely fallen apart since they beat the Chiefs and, frankly, we love to see it. How wonderful would it be to see the terrible Broncos team hand a butt-whooping to the Raiders so they have to stew on that all offseason? I don’t think it will happen, but division games are weird!
