Week 11 is in the books, and with the Chiefs beating the Raiders they are in prime position to win the AFC West. Here’s a look at the full NFL standings.

After winning a crucial matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Kansas City Chiefs have put themselves in prime position to win the AFC West. Their ninth win gave them a three game lead in the division.

The Chiefs’ game against the Raiders was a nail biter, with neither team really taking any momentum to run away with the game. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes worked his magic once again and completed 34/45 passes for 348 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. He led the Chiefs on a game-winning drive with under two minutes to lead them to a 35-31 win.

The playoff race is heating up, with the current seeding in the AFC looking like this:

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers 10-0-0
  2. Kansas City Chiefs 9-1-0
  3. Buffalo Bills 7-3-0
  4. Indianapolis Colts 7-3-0
  5. Tennessee Titans 7-3-0
  6. Cleveland Browns 7-3-0
  7. Las Vegas Raiders 6-4-0

Close behind for the 7th spot are the Baltimore Ravens and the Miami Dolphins who are each at 6-4-0.

The NFC playoff seeding looks like this:

  1. New Orleans Saints 8-2-0
  2. Los Angeles Rams 7-3-0
  3. Green Bay Packers 7-3-0
  4. Philadelphia Eagles 3-6-1
  5. Seattle Seahawks 7-3-0
  6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-4-0
  7. Arizona Cardinals 6-4-0

As it currently stands, there are three teams in the NFC West that would be in the playoffs, and each of these teams has a legit shot at actually making this come true. Behind the Cardinals are the Chicago Bears, at 5-5-0, and then the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, and San Francisco 49ers, all at 4-6-0.

The race in the AFC is currently much more competitive than the NFC for a playoff spot, but NFC teams are still battling for better seeding.
