Patrick Mahomes has more career wins in Denver than Broncos quarterback Drew Lock.

After Week 7, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes owns a 4-0 record all time at Mile High Stadium. Denver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock is 3-2. Yes, you read that correctly. That is not an error.

As everyone remembers, Mahomes made his NFL debut in Denver in Week 17 of the 2017 season his rookie year. The Chiefs locked up the No. 4 seed going into Week 17 of that year. The outcome of the game would not change their seed placement for the playoffs. So, similar to what Andy Reid did in 2013, he rested his starters in Week 17 of 2017.

Mahomes led the Chiefs to a game-winning drive to help set up a game-winning field goal from Harrison Butker to win 30-27. Mahomes went 22-of-35 passing for 284 yards with no touchdown passes nor runs. Despite not having a touchdown to his stat sheet, he did enough to impress a lot of people in his NFL debut in Denver.

The more memorable game in Denver came in 2018 when Mahomes had his first primetime game on Monday Night Football. The Chiefs were down by 10 for a majority of the fourth quarter. According to ESPN’s win probability, the Broncos had a 91.7 percent chance of winning the game during the fourth quarter. But Mahomes had something to say about that. In the final seven minutes, the Chiefs scored two touchdowns to come back and win. Mahomes threw a touchdown pass to Travis Kelce, followed by a touchdown run by then-Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt. It was Mahomes’ first career come-from-behind victory in the NFL.

In 2019, Mahomes had his worst experience in Denver. He suffered a knee injury on a quarterback sneak early in the game, forcing him to miss the rest of the game. However, backup quarterback Matt Moore took care of business for the Chiefs, putting the game out of reach in the third quarter after a 57-yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill. The Chiefs won by a final score of 30-6 on Thursday Night Football.

On Sunday, the Chiefs picked up a 43-16 win in Denver. This extends Kansas City’s winning streak against Denver to 10 games, a streak dating back to 2015. That means Mahomes is now 4-0 all time against the Denver Broncos and has more wins in Denver than any quarterback in the NFL since 2017
