The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Baltimore Ravens in what is sure to be the game of the year.
A battle for AFC supremacy is coming.
Lamar Jackson is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes won the NFL MVP award in 2018. Jackson won the same award the following year. Mahomes captured his first Super Bowl Championship in 2019. Jackson would love to take his Ravens to the big dance in 2020.
There are many similarities between Mahomes and Jackson in their young careers. Both players are incredibly talented and have, in many ways, set the standard for the future of the QB position in the NFL. They both feature incredible arm talent and athleticism. Both are supported by extremely talented rosters and long-tenured, Super Bowl-winning head coaches.
While Mahomes and Jackson have a lot in common, Jackson still has some proving to do. To date, Jackson has faced Mahomes three times and been defeated three times. Lamar has also failed to secure a post-season win.
Monday’s game will be the first time Jackson has faced Mahomes on his home field. Unfortunately for the Ravens, they will have to take on the Chiefs without their fans in the stadium.
Can Lamar finally get a win in the budding Ravens, Chiefs rivalry? What are the keys to victory for the Chiefs? Who will win the game?
