Jerry Jeudy vs Bashaud Breeland

Another promising receiver in the AFC West is Jerry Jeudy. Just like Ruggs, Jeudy also went to the school of Alabama where he had 2,742 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns in just three seasons. The Broncos selected Jeudy with the 15th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, making him the second receiver selected in this draft.

With Charvarius Ward more than likely covering Courtland Sutton, Bashaud Breeland should be the man to line up against Jerry Jeudy. Breeland will hope to maintain the momentum coming off of a great Super Bowl performance.

Breeland played in all 16 regular season games for the Chiefs last season. He recorded 2 interceptions and allowed a 48.4% completion percentage while targeted. Jeudy has a two-inch advantage in height over Breeland, who is also hoping to avoid a suspension to start the year.

This matchup should be very interesting. Jeudy has superstar potential, but no one knows how good he will be in his rookie year. However, his presence alone should open things up for Sutton and second-year tight end Noah Fant.
