Baltimore Ravens

After taking the NFL by storm in 2019, the Baltimore Ravens found a way to get even better over the offseason. It’s hard to imagine after a season in which Baltimore won 14 of their regular-season games with their MVP quarterback. After an early exit in the playoffs, the team set out to build an even better unit for 2020.

Adding to an already top-five defense, the Ravens brought in free agent defensive end Derek Wolfe and traded for defensive end Calais Campbell for a fifth-round pick. Addressing their biggest need at the second level, LSU linebacker Patrick Queen fell right into their lap. They doubled down on linebacker and selected Ohio State linebacker Malik Harrison in the third round.

The offense built on its run-heavy style in the second round by selecting Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins. The Ravens addressed a need at wide receiver and added Texas wide receiver Devin Duvernay to the mix in the third round.

With these pieces added to an already loaded roster, Baltimore will once again be a heavyweight in the AFC. The AFC North will likely be more competitive in 2020, but the Ravens are the front-runner to win the division again. If Lamar Jackson improves in the passing game, and the young linebackers show quick adjustment to the NFL, this team will be very hard to beat.
