The 2020 NFL schedule is released and the Kansas City Chiefs play some tough games. Which teams will give the Chiefs the biggest scare?

The NFL’s 2020 schedule was just released and, after rumors foretold of AFC v. NFC games played first, it turns out that couldn’t have been more wrong. This tells me that the NFL plans to start on time with no delay.

The Kansas City Chiefs have a relatively tough schedule, in my opinion, although there are maybe only 1-2 games where they will be “underdogs.” Let’s take a look at the five toughest games the Chiefs have for this “Run it Back” campaign.

To begin, the one that just missed out is the Chiefs’ trip to Las Vegas. The Raiders will be hyped hosting Kansas City for the first time in Vegas and you know it will be a rowdy environment, if fans can actually go. The reason they are honorable mention and not top 5, however, is the fact Derek Carr is still the quarterback and Andy Reid‘s Chiefs will be coming off of a bye.

5. @ Buffalo Bills – Week 6

For the record, I am going to assume fans will be at games so when I talk about environment and the road factor, I’m alluding to games as normal.

The Bills are a team that could put up a great fight for the Chiefs. I am much higher on Josh Allen than a lot of people, and that’s even recognizing the playoff game last year where Nathan Peterman would have been an upgrade. But the talent and potential is tantalizing here. Allen can make some absurd throws that only few can make and his running is reminiscent of Cam Newton. The accuracy is… a work in progress.

We know that Buffalo has a good defense and they drafted defensive end A.J. Epenesa in the second round as well. Offensively they brought in Stefon Diggs to be the true bonafide number 1, and after seeing Devin Singletary in that playoff game, he is not an easy man to take down. The reason why the Bills could pose a tough matchup is if Allen hits on the deep ball. While he is very much a work in progress, he has an absolute cannon and the addition of Diggs stretches the field even more.

Maybe I am higher on the Bills than most, but what is not up for debate is Bills Mafia. They are wild, crazy, and love injuring themselves by jumping on flaming tables. It is a tough place to play and the improvements the team has made gives them a great shot at making the playoffs again. Only problem is they are going up against Patrick Mahomes and the best team in football.

Only way the Bills win this game is if Josh Allen outplays Patrick Mahomes and I just don’t see that happening.
