A few rumors continue to leak out from decent sources for the Chiefs 2020 schedule, including a note that they’ll visit the Ravens in Week 3.
The latest round of rumors comes from NFL reporter Jason Hirschhorn who has word on a few of the single biggest games on the Kansas City Chiefs schedule for the 2020 season.
Per Hirschhorn, the Chiefs will visit Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3 in a showdown for early AFC supremacy. From there, he also has word that the Chiefs will visit Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 12 and Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints in Week 15.
All three of those games are likely to be considered the most difficult games facing the Chiefs in the 2020 season and they’re all on the road. The Chiefs’ schedule rotation includes the NFC South this year and they will host the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons at Arrowhead Stadium while visiting the Bucs and Saints on the road.
Of course, none of this is official and some early schedule leaks already look to be incorrect, or at least conflictual, with other reports. Someone will end up looking foolish once the official schedule is revealed on Thursday night. Until then, however, all we can do is look for clues and/or rumors in hopes of piecing some of the schedule together—for those of us interested enough to try to figure things out in advance, that is.
Here’s a look at the teams the Chiefs will visit on the road:
