Vikings vs. Chiefs Week 8: How to watch, start time, live stream, TV info and more
By Matt Conner
The Kansas City Chiefs hope to turn around their fortunes without Patrick Mahomes against a talented Minnesota Vikings squad.
Another week, another game the Kansas City Chiefs will be starting (allegedly) Matt Moore over Patrick Mahomes. Unless a sliver of drama plays out in favor of last year’s NFL MVP, the Chiefs will once again hope to topple an NFC contender with a long injury list and their superstar quarterback on the sideline.
Last week, the Chiefs put up a valiant effort against the visiting Green Bay Packers, but Aaron Rodgers and company proved to be too much for the Chiefs to handle. Given the number of injuries, the defense looked gassed and the Chiefs lacked the margin to overcome any turnovers. Moore performed admirably however, so there’s hope that the Chiefs will hang with the Minnesota Vikings as they visit Arrowhead on Sunday in Week 9.
The Vikings are a talented team. Kirk Cousins was just named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month for October, so he’s red hot and enjoying the ability to throw to playmakers like Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs. It doesn’t hurt to have one of the league’s most dynamic running backs in Dalvin Cook
