Kendall Fuller injures right hand against Houston Texans

The Kansas City Chiefs can add another player to their injured list with news that Kendall Fuller is scheduled for x-rays on his right hand after the loss to Houston.
The Kansas City Chiefs are dealing with yet another injury in a frustrating season filled with them. The latest player to need further tests is slot cornerback Kendall Fuller who injured his right hand and will be getting x-rays, per reporter Matt Derrick.
On Sunday afternoon, the Chiefs lost to the Houston Texans at home by a final score of 31-24. The Chiefs have now lost two games in a row, and the potential of not having Fuller available on a short week in time for Thursday Night Football only makes the task harder as they prepare to face the Denver Broncos.
Fuller specifically left with a thumb injury which left him on the Chiefs sideline. From there, he was ruled questionable to return, and he was replaced in the slot by sixth round rookie Rashad Fenton.
Fuller has been with the Chiefs ever since they traded Alex Smith to the Washington Redskins nearly two years ago. The Chiefs ended up with Fuller and a second round pick as the prize and Fuller has served as a solid contributor in the secondary ever since. However, his future with the team is uncertain given that he’s scheduled to reach unrestricted free agency after this season. Will the Chiefs offer an extension? Is Fuller even interested in that? There have been no rumors to date pointing in either direction.
Fuller has 31 total tackles in 2019 through six games including one sack. He also has 2 batted passes. He has 6 career interceptions to date as he continues his fourth NFL season.
