A collision with cornerback Bashaud Breeland brought Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver to the medical tent at training camp on Tuesday.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill was forced to leave the field on Tuesday to head to the medical tent after suffering a quad bruise from a collision with cornerback Bashaud Breeland. The good news is Hill should be fine, per Adam Schefter.

Hill, who was recently cleared of any wrongdoing by the National Football League, has enjoyed a strong showing early in training camp with the Chiefs and looks primed for a memorable season. Breeland is hoping to also turn in a strong display after missing the last couple days with a lacerated thumb.

Immediately after the collision, trainers attended to Hill and the issue looked to be with his right leg. You can see the hit here from Breeland:

Andy Reid should have a full update when speaking to reporters after Tuesday’s practice, but the Chiefs will no doubt take their time and be patient with any concerns with Hill. The team’s top wideout doesn’t have to be ready until the regular season, so the Chiefs can afford the luxury of sitting him for as long as they need. Fortunately the injury was not deemed serious even from the outset by trainers.
