Wide receiver Mecole Hardman made his debut in a Kansas City Chiefs uniform via Panini America at the NFLPA’s Rookie Premiere on Saturday.

The National Football League’s Player’s Association is putting on the 25th annual Rookie Premiere this weekend, an event that’s geared to give the top crop of the NFL’s incoming rookie class a chance to gather together for key marketing opportunities, business introductions, key symposiums and much more.

This year, Mecole Hardman is the lone representative of the Kansas City Chiefs, and the rookie wide receiver got his first official look in a team uniform on Saturday.

On Saturday, Panini America works with photographers to take shots of the NFL’s top rookies—40 of them this year—for their first football cards. This is also the official introduction of each player in their new uniform. From Kyler Murray with the Arizona Cardinals to Quinnen Williams of the New York Jets, each fan base will see their new top rookie in team colors and that’s the same for Hardman and the Chiefs.

Hardman was selected at No. 56 overall in the second round after the Chiefs traded up five spots to get him. The Georgia wideout was considered a stretch of a pick by some draft analysts, but the Chiefs had reason to believe that at least one other team was interested in Hardman around the same spot and the team believes he’s an ideal vertical threat and special teams contributor to keep things moving on offense and the return game should Tyreek Hill be unable to play for a certain amount of time.

Hardman had 35 catches for 543 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns last year for the Georgia Bulldogs.
