In this edition of our Arrowhead Addict mock draft, all kinds of trades shake up the foundation of the draft. Do they Chiefs trade up? We mock it up.

In anticipation of the NFL Draft, we are making another mock draft. At Arrowhead Addict, we are trying to keep you up to date as to what we could see happen on the 25th of April. In this week’s edition of our mock draft, the Raiders make a blockbuster trade that changes the face and structure of the draft.

The Raiders are not the only AFC West team that is aggressive in round one. A few players see their stock rise and a few see a decline. Who will the Chiefs select and at what pick? Read here, starting with the first overall selection—to Oakland.

Scouting Report. 1. player. Pick Analysis. Quarterback. Oklahoma. Kyler Murray. 28

Oakland Raiders (TRADE UP From Arizona Cardinals)

In a blockbuster trade, the Raiders give up their 4th overall pick and 27th overall picks (both first round choices) as well as some other assets to move up and get their guy. Jon Gruden has hinted before that he does not care much about a quarterback’s size. If the Cardinals decide they do not necessarily want Murray at number one, I think that it may be likely that the Raiders move in position to take him in an attempt to keep pace with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

Scouting Report. EDGE. Ohio State. Nick Bosa. 2. player. Pick Analysis. 42

San Francisco 49ers

This seems to be the pick. I would be shocked if the 49ers decided to take anyone else. Bosa has been widely regarded to be the best player in the draft. In an attempt to make the NFL’s best defensive line, Nick Bosa would pair very nicely with speed rusher, Dee Ford. If the 49ers take anyone else here, it would be a mistake.

3. 30. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Kentucky. Josh Allen. EDGE. player

New York Jets

After missing out on Anthony Barr this offseason, the Jets still need a pass rusher. While Quinnen Williams paired with Leonard Williams would be an incredible pairing, I think that the Jets would prefer someone on the outside with athleticism. Allen has tremendous upside and could help the Jets get quick pressure on Tom Brady. If they want to be competitive in the AFC East, a good pass rusher could help decide the future of the franchise.

Pick Analysis. Florida. Jawaan Taylor. player. Scouting Report. 4. 32. Offensive Tackle

Arizona Cardinals (From Oakland Raiders)

If the Cardinals really wanted to take steps forward, they would invest in their offensive line, which was putrid last season. Jawaan Taylor is far and away the best lineman in this draft and has the highest upside. In Kliff Kingsbury‘s pass-heavy offense, it will be incredibly important to protect Josh Rosen—or whoever is quarterbacking for the team.

Alabama. Quinnen Williams. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Defensive Tackle. 5. player. 48

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

This would be a dream scenario for the Bucs. If Quinnen Williams is available at pick five, Tampa Bay should be running to the podium. As they consider moving on from Gerald McCoy, Williams would make the ideal replacement at defensive tackle and the tandem of Williams with former first round choice Vita Vea would be a nightmare for opposing offenses.
